Monday 20th-friday 24 October 08

Hello,
I hope you have had a good week. This term seems to be keeping me on my toes with more going on than ever before.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helps with HSI, financially, prayerfully and in time. I especially want to thank those people who give up their time to serve our young people either in their churches or in HSI clubs...your work is very much appreciated!
It's been an encouraging week with conversations on new things developing and seeing existing things thriving. The new Monday night Rock Solid is doing better than I thought possible and it's great to see young people from 3 different middle schools coming together, and many who already go to Parkway RS.
I hope next week will be equally as encouraging!

If you’ve got friends who you’ve been thinking about getting along to a Christian event, then these evenings will be really accessible to them; so bring them along and we’ll see you all there! The tour will also be supporting the Hope 08 initiative, so come along to find out more... Hello,
Once again we have got through a hectic week, but a very positive week with some new things in store for us.
Our first Monday night Rock Solid at the Chalkstone centre went really well, thank you for prayers and for those leaders. We had a fun night and had a good number of young people, many with no church links. We hope the following one will be as much fun and hope to see the same faces and perhaps some new faces.
After some discussions this week we hope to be launching our 4th Rock Solid club, this time another lunch time, more details to follow!

A little help goes a long way....

In one of the moments when you think you can achieve very little on your own with so little to give it dawned on me how much a little goes.

The work of HSI relies on people generosity, and those small contributions go a long way to helping with the work we do. If each person contributed £1 a week each week, less for a cup of coffee In most places, we wouldn't need many people to employ a part time worker to reach more young people and share the gospel with.

Just think... 100 people giving £1 a week each week...£100 made easily and would go a long way, keeping that up in a year would make a huge contribution.

Just think whether you could help with our work, God's work and with our vision in seeking the finances to employ another worker and in so doing meeting more young people.

If you feel you can help, please phone or e-mail us with your address and we can get a form to you, otherwise please feel free to get in touch at our office in 'Next Door' Camps Rd.

Many thanks.
